I regret that I ever saw this card. Fighting to get an RMA now.
I am running a Corsair 750 W PS, so I am definitely not underpowered, but I still had issues with this thing not booting up, and I would have to restart the system 2-3 times before it would boot up. I had problems with this from the beginning.
I put in a support ticket and no action was taken on it by them for almost 2 months. Problem gradually got worse and worse, and now it will not boot at all.
Their support is worthless. It looks like I have a $300 paperweight.
Save yourself the grief.
Excelente VC, para cualquiera de los juegos actuales rinde muy bien dandele bastante FPS, aunque se caliente demasiado y a veces se congela en algunos juegos quizas por driver.
overclock is limited by ccc and it will bottle neck any computer under dual core 3.0ghrtz.runs cool with fan at 45% 7/24 3dmark with my amd 5200 oc'd 15000, with card at stock on a 24" monitor. [.]. plays trackmania in hd at 120fps and crysis not in hd but close to hd at 45fps at high. you need two 6 pin connectors and about 600w psu or better, its about 9 and 1/2" long so have the room. fan is very loud over 50%(I have 5 fans running and this sounds like a jet engine when it gets over 50%) so use ccc to adjust fan. big card takes up 2 slots and exhaust all hot air out of you computer.card is very impressive looking and heavy.beats a 280gtx in bench marks at toms [.]. and a 9800gtx also go see for yourself.if you really want to game buy a 4870x2 two gpu's on on card.
This is a great card. It runs all the latest games (Nov'08) with no problems.
also i work with 3ds max 2009. looks amazing. played Crysis at very high. amazing. no lag, no missed frames. perfect. it can handle over 6 million (get error on 13 millions) poligons with no problems. work best if shaded, wireframe can slow the performance.
